I bought a 2020 Rubicon Deluxe almost 2 months ago, about a month ago it started shifting loudly, the next day i was on a trail below my house and i came to a stop on a level spot and the gear display showed a dash and it would not shift instead it began shifting rapidly and it sounded like it was not ...TRX420NFLD. 152 posts · Joined 2009. #7 · Dec 30, 2010. Last winter i was riding my brothers 09 420AT when i got it stuck in some ice.Then the display showed the symbol -.The only way it got back to normal was to use the shifting fork in the tool kit.After that it was O.K. 2014 TRX420 PS.Purchased my 2021 Rubicon brand new from the dealer. Almost immediately it started having shifting issues, flashing gear indicator. I told the dealer the issue and they had a look and said nothing is wrong. Turns out it had the software defect and the shift fork got damaged.Sep 11, 2011 ... I have had gear change problems. Takes a few miles to break them in after that smother as butter. The low range comes in handy for plowing or going down steep hills the engine braking is the same as foot shift model.

Rather than leave it for 8 hours, just reset it when needed. google the reset. It is key off, in neutral, press up and down at the same time, turn key and release up and down at the same time, when you hear angle sensor going through a cycle then press throttle open and release. You have just reset everything.
