Ok, your biggest issue at the moment is the P0345, this is for the cam position sensor on bank #2. This will indeed cause the stalling issue you are seeing. The P0420 code means there is an issuie with the catalytic converter on bank 1. This can cause stalling, but in most cases won't.

Put the transmission in N and cycle the 4wd to 4 high or 4 lo. Sometimes you have to move a little put it back to Nuetral and cycle till the light goes off. When the VDC light is on you might've turned on the 4wd without doing it properly and it gets stuck in low range. Hopes this helps.
