Answered: We am looking to visit Croatia in late July/August 2023. There will be 5 of us, 2 children in their early 20's and one 17 year old. This will be our first visit and am feeling overwhelmed with which area to stay.

The drawbacks are short days and less green vegetation. I quite like the weather in November as it is cooler. It is not the month to see Croatia at its stunning best. My favourite months here are April, May, June, September and October.

You have a couple of options. You can do a guided day trip to Mostar from either Dubrovnik and then catamaran to Hvar and the on to Split.. Or Alternatively you could use a transfer service (for example Octopus Transfers) that stop for about 3 hours en route between Dubrovnik & Split...have them drop you at the ferry port …
