They share the same general beach area so it won't be much different except that the CC has plenty of palapas and shade - not sure about Elegance. I am looking to book four nights in April at either the Majestic Elegance or the Majestic Colonial and have a few questions. It is about a $150 difference between the two. 1. Is it worth spending the extra money to stay at the Elegance? 2. Is it with worth the extra money to upgrade to the Colonial Club or the Elegance Club (About $100)? 3.

Dreams is all family. Elegance has family and AO sections. At Dreams, depending on the category booked you could be in a building closest to the ocean. At Elegance, only the AOs are next to the ocean. Family buildings are further in. But at either, even from the lobby it's no more than a 5 minute walk to the beach.
