Hey all, I work for a fleet shop and we have a lifeguard ATV its a Kawasaki brute force 650. Its back firing through one carb more than the other one and back firing through the exhaust. Starts up and idles good, once you start giving it throttle it acts as if its starving for fuel. This thing gets tons of beach sand thrown at it 24/7.

Prairie 650 backfiring problem. I have an 03 that has backfired into the airbox since day one. I have rejetted up to 142 145 and shimmed the needles with 2 shims each and its better but it runs rich. I am about ready to get rid of it if i cant figure it out soon. The dealer says its supposed to do that.
