The current owner knows the scope is good but is asking for too much. Regardless of use or wear, $350 for just the scope and stock 25mm is not a bargain at all.

I found one in the CN classifieds for $225 a few months ago. Those have top-shelf glass and longer focal lengths than those short-tube 80s you mentioned, and the views are stunning.
