If a stock is ripping, all I’m essentially doing is dip buying. Before I take the trade, I predefine the max shares I’m willing to use on the trade, the number of bullets I’ll use to scale into my max size, and my risk level. I scale in each time the tape stalls when it dips, building my position as it gets to my support level.
The thing you got to remember is if you’re looking at a trend on the 1 min, you’re going to want to stay in for ideally 1 min. Match the timeframe to the hold time very generally speaking.
