Interdimensional portal event. I just found this on a planet, and upon researching it found it led to "a dimension of suffering" that is so incompatible with sapient life that minutes of exposure led to suicide or "mutilation of sensory organs". I'm guessing this is a nod to the film Event Horizon?The Mirror Dimension gives excellent economic rewards, while Null Void gives you a unique weapon you can't get anywhere else. Null Void is particularly nice since its an anti-shield energy weapon, meaning you don't need kinetic weapons at all. That saves you the effort of having to research an entire wing of the engineering tree.I have a question about victory conditions. It's bugged out. Happened to me too. Leave the system and allow another fleet to spawn and retake the system, then enter as close to the portal as you can get and try to focus it down before the system control station dies. As the title suggests, I'm unable to find any dimensional anchor, even though the situation log says they have one active and it won't let me attack their portal. The situation log gives me the option to "track quest" on the anchor, but when I do that it just tracks my ... The wiki says that the Unbidden should leave their "main fleet" to guard the portal.
