All I have to do is press and hold that indicator for 3 to 5 seconds. It then changes to RAB-OFF. While RAB is turned off, there are no further issues with backing up the trailer. Eyesight can be fussy about lighting, dust, condensation etc but it should be occasionally off, not frequently. Your dealer should do a full recalibration as a minimum. If they won't, try another dealer or call SOA and explain the issue.
