The other key thing to do is play ball control offense. Last few years you got points for solo battles higher the difficulty the more points also the better stats in game got you more. They changed it this year but didn't really remove them aspects. Solo now reward you thru the competitive field pass. This is exactly what I just experienced in MUT. "I had not played my 13th Solo Battle game and I just finished my 12th and it said the event was over and would not let me play the 13th."
