Ice conditions have improved: We are seeing 13 to 15 inches on our plowed roads Off the roads we are seeing 11-15 still some thinner spots of ice out there, so be careful when traveling off road. We will be open to 1/2 ton vehicle traffic pulling single axel wheel houses and the lighter tandem axel wheel houses that are aluminum.Again we stress safety and want everyone to have a safe memorable fishing experience. So we will be limiting our traffic for the weekend. LEECH LAKE ICE UPDATE 1-10-24!!!! The access opens up at 8am tomorrow morning to the public for ATV, SxS, and snowmobile traffic. Single axel wheel houses are allowed for the season pass holders and the all inclusive pass holders only until after the weekend. There are still season passes available in the office.
