At a cold start, my idling RPM was at 1300. After a brief warm up, that dropped to ~1000 RPM. Putting the AT in Drive, resulted in a drop to ~790 RPM. They drop the fuel input and just barely keep the engine running at idle. This has been my experience for the past 20 years owning Kia vehicles. If there is no CEL there's no problem.
