Be warned that once you get to the last 200 questions or so, the difficulty level is very high and the topics, slightly obscure – still good practice though! UWorld on the whole can be harder than the AAMC, but that is a pro, and as a general rule of thumb you want to be scoring in the high 70s-80s percent accuracy on the questions.

Uworld is essentially content review after every question, which is awesome, but takes forever to do.I.e one person could score WAY below average and study really hard and review all of the questions and get a 520 on FL1, or someone could get mid 60s and 70s and get a 510-515, it really depends on how you use the materials and learn from them. It seems most feel otherwise but holy shit are the AAMC questions harder than uearth. I was scoring ~85% B/B, 98% CARS, 85% P/S, and 70% C/P on uearth for 3 months and was expecting an easy transition to AAMC content since all I heard was how much easier it is, but all my scores are much much lower.

Out of any third-party CARS resource, UWorld comes the closest to the AAMC style. In particular, the way that most of the questions are written is very representative of the AAMC logic. I highly recommend using it if you have access to it. There’s one main drawback: the difficulty.
