I spoke with Doordash customer service and did the whole walk-through again. I noticed that after deleting my payment method, the app defaulted to my Google Pay as the default option, which I can't delete unless I replace it with another default option. Then there's a section below it to add a new payment option with various choices. I had the same problem today and this appears to be a bug in their app or an issue with your internet connection. I just turned off wifi on my phone and used mobile data instead to make the order. It worked! Of course you might have a different problem but it sounds exactly the same issue as mine. 1. Share.
