Roger Worley Obituary. Roger Worley, 67, of Marshall, NC, passed away November 2, 2023 in his home. Roger was born March 7, 1956 in Hickory, NC to the late OT Worley and Myrtle Lee Rice Dockery. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Penland. Roger attended Mars Hill High School. He worked his whole life as a carpenter. A memorial service conducted by Pastor Dennis Thurman will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 23, 2022 in the chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services with the family receiving friends an hour prior.
