Yanked out the egr cooler and looped the fluid hose to the heater core with a brass fitting. Yanked out the adblue tank with heater, wiring, hose, injector etc. Replaced the egr with a race pipe and cleaned out the intake manifold. Hardest part was pulling the egr without pulling down the inter cooler.

I believe even bio produces PM, which is the main reason for the DPF. It is just the nature of a heavy distillate fuel to produce PM.
