I got a M9A1 Compact Inox in a trade a month or so back and I was pretty amazed at how many tool marks were present on the inside of the slide. Both the M9A1 and 92A1 are 2019 models, and the previous owner of the M9A1 only had it for a couple of months before me.

The 92A1 is the only one I'm aware of that isn't compatible with other 92 variants. M9A1 holsters should fit pretty much every variant except for the 92A1 since it has a different rail. I also use the Safariland 5197 and 5198 since they're cheap and readily available.

I sent my M9A1 slide to Tool Tech to replace the rear sight with a Trijicon rear and they drilled and inserted a Trijicon filament into the front sight (it was milled into the slide).
