Sorry let me clarify, I've only tested multi broker license key not required specifically when using a prop firm tradovate account and NT brokerage account. I'm not sure about other combos, like IBKR, TD, Rithmic, etc. For the NT login modal (you know that new one before NT Desktop opens), I use the Apex login provided instead of personal.
