Plex smart collection.
I have successfully added smart collection for my movie library, but when I did the same for my TV Shows I noticed that it only worked for on my main user (server owner). If i switched to another user within my "family" it did not work, or if I tried to view it on a plex "Friend" account. Though it worked flawlessly with movies.
I'm wondering if this feature has been released via API and if there are plans to support it or integrate it into PMM. The current workaround is to create a collection, filter by collection to create a smart collection, and sort that.I was playing a lot with collections these days. So for collections of you name them the exact same in both TV and Movies items will appear in the same collection, although they will be separated. So in a movie collection at the bottom you will get a TV section and vice versa. Right. But is there a way to make a unified smart playlist out of the collection?
Yes in my library, when I apply the unplayed filter, all the collections disappear. IIRC, Plex doesn't actually look "into the collection" to verify if some of their content is unwatched.
