For a long time I've felt like there's been this one way ratchet to add provinces to EU4, often to the game's detriment. In some cases this is necessary (I think we can all agree sub-saharan africa was lacking in detail). but in many other cases it's gone way too far, often making playing in those regions to be both tedious and unenjoyable clickfests.

I don’t know, I think this is just another sign EU4 has been taken as far as it can go. I’m not really a fan of the direction they’ve taken mission trees. I feel like I have to read the whole tree before I unpause the game, otherwise I’ll miss something or not play the way the tree rewards the player for playing.
