The ingame checkbox on the settings page doesn't work, and adding it to the .ini files will not work. Right click ark in your game listing. Click on properties on the pop-up menu.

your weight excedes his. Not true, i didnt change anything but give him some food (actually gained weight in the proccess) and now he flys. I guess he was just hungry :) I know with the Argentavis if your weight is over 200, it wont move at all. So make sure to keep a eye on ya weight Also, Along with food.
