aaronwt2065. You need to connect the uplink to a LAN port to use the CR1000a as an AP. This was the only way I was able to get my three CR1000a units to work as an AP. The other things that were supposed to be done, never worked for me. Unfortunately, this way, you lose the use of the 10GbE WAN port. And you cannot access the UI of the box.Easiest method is to just plug any other device or router directly into your ethernet feed that's going into the router now, like a PC/Laptop. Let it obtain a new IP. Then reboot your router and plug the ethernet feed back into the router. Verizon will "see" it as a new MAC address and sometimes you will get a new IP.The G3100 is not the latest model, the CR1000A is. It has Wi-Fi 6e and support for multi-gig.
