The dimensions as listed on the website are: Dimensions: 36.5 in L x 15.5 in W. Upon picking it up, I looked for a lid, and the asscoiate assured me this was the right lid. It even said "IDEAL FOR 40G AQUARIUMS" on the box. The 40g lid from Petsmart shows these dimensions: Product Dimensions: 35 in L x 16.5 W. Needless to say, it doesn't fit.
