Show isn’t gratuitous with the zombie scenes or the blood, which I think is a big plus. One of the things that I think makes the zombies different from zombies in other shows, is that the zombies here are portrayed as patients infected by a mysterious disease, rather than undead monsters. 2. I think I have shown my love for these 2 dramas in 5 stages – Watching, Understanding, Admiring, Longing, and lastly Letting-Go. I bet I am going to do the same for the dramas I am going to see and cherish moving forward. In my opinion, re-watching a KDrama makes the watching experience even more beautiful. Guh. The coming together of the Mystic team as one little found family, is my favorite thing in this whole show. Here are couple of things that I think would be helpful to keep in mind, to maximize your enjoyment of the show. 1. This movie can feel pretty slow. With its broody, contemplative, slice-of-life approach, it can feel like nothing much is happening on your screen. But stuff does happen.Sadly, my experience with this show was like going on a blind date, and then really really trying to make it work, because everyone else kept gushing about what a great guy my date was – only to realize, after much time and effort, that we could only really be friends, at best. 😅. To be clear, I didn’t hate this show.

Here are couple of things that I think would be helpful to keep in mind, to maximize your enjoyment of the show. 1. This movie can feel pretty slow. Compact at 11 episodes, Show manages to pack more meat on its bones than some longer shows. It feels like this sentiment means the world to both of them. In terms of significant couple moments, one that stands out to me is the moment they share on the bus, in episode 7. It feels like this moment is the closest one they’ve shared, even though just the night before, Moon Soo had drunk-kissed him.

A romance that manages to feel real and raw, yet sweet and aspirational, at the same time.
