I don't know, it depends on the aircraft. For a redeye, I got upgraded at the gate from Row 10 of the A321 to Row 1, and not being able to stretch out my legs really sucked, and the A321 bulkhead/Row 1 legroom is definitely one of the tightest ones I've experienced.
