Upon cleaning and reassembly, I pushed the slide back in order to install the retaining pin. I think I pushed it too far back and now the whole slide is stuck open. It seems I'm having this issue every time I strip the gun. It seems like the recoil spring pops out of the spot it sits on the barrel when I push the slide back to put the takedown pin back in. Because I lock the slide back, then release the slide and move it forward to remove the slide again, and it's already stuck.

Lately it's been 2-3 times per mag which is pretty bad. I was shooting factory Blazer Brass 115's and 124's as well as my reloads and the problem persisted no matter what ammo I used.
