Polaris ranger no spark.

Sep 7, 2018 · 2016 Ranger 570 EFI No Spark. Im having a no start issue. I have no spark. First thing I did was change the coil. No help. There are two wires that plug into this coil via a plug- one white wire, one black wire. I have 12v to the white wire when put the other lead to a ground. But, if i put a lead into each terminal of the plug, I have nothing. The wires going to the crank position sensor were shorted together. The short was beneath the plastic loom. It was a pain to find. 2011 XP 900, Alba Racing Big Bore built motor with BoonDockers Turbo, HCR Long Travel, TMW race cage, Twisted Stitch suspension seats, Rigid LED lighting, and to many other things to list.Thanks Elkbow, that info was a tremendous help. When did you purchase the unit, since you state it only has 10hrs on it. Did something happen to possibly cause this issue, referring to you riding conditions and use of the Ranger. I know it's harder to get to on the 570, but with my machine it's less than 5 minutes to get it up and running if it's the plug.
