Jeep wrangler overheating while driving.

Sorry to say that is pretty normal for a 3.6 JK. 203-240 temps are a regular occurrence and my JK overheats pretty much every time I go off road. Computer will turn on the fan at 226F. But it will not be able to keep up with cooling. So this is a sad reality of a 3.6 in a jk.Put a can of radiator flush in the radiator and drive the jeep around for a while. Follow the instructions on the can. Then do like Bsw sc suggests and replace your coolant. If none of the above fix the problem, replace your water pump. Make sure you get the correct water pump for your particular belt configuration.Step 2 – Check radiator and fan. Just a hot burning smell. There is no smoke from hood or vents. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine compartment looks fairly clean. Usual dust. Oil is fine. Coolant is ok. It hasn't been rust proofed or greased in any way. It's a 2010 so it's not burning stickers off or oils from manufacturing.
