Honda crv clunking noise rear.

28/05/2021 4:13 pm. Topic starter. My wife has a 2009 Honda CRV, auto tranny, 85,000 miles. When driving on a bumpy road it makes a clunking sound somewhere in the back half of the car. It sounds like something large and important is going to fall off the car. My mechanic can not find the problem.So as per the title we have a nice pulsating noise that is quite loud under any braking, (can't feel anything through the pedal mind) from the rear, I believe it's the right hand side however noise does travel a little in these so could be either side without further inspection.
