Poor starting stats (Stamina), no slam, high experience penalty, and they can't use a few clickies that still matter in Velious.So, barbs have a 5% penalty, ogres 15%, and trolls 20%. The barbarian gets to said high-level content decisively faster and as a result, gets to farm the needed plat for spells and gear upgrades to get to his shaman prime way faster.
