New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I find 99% of issues can be fixed in 3 easy steps. 1: Verify DayZ game. 2: Verify your Mods 3: Delete and reinstall the thing that is giving you your issue. This fixes everything from corrupted Game files to bad PBO errors (if your modding).
To me the standalone is better than the mod in a lot of aspects. The lack of any kind of updates to improve pvp is the only thing that's holding the standalone back from overtaking the mod. Thats coming from a mod player who started playing dayz in may of 12. Arma3 also had a number of paid DLC that certainly drove revenue as well.
