Dracozny. 1980 posts · Joined 2009. #3 · Dec 29, 2010. this Q has been asked many times as well. if your just needing a replacement i'm sure you can find a 2nd gen bed. from what i have read the 2nd gen and 3rd gen frames are not the same width so the bolt holes will not line up. heck i'm not even sure if the wheel wells will line up either.

They did not make second gen Cab and Chassis after about 98 or 99. Cab adn chassis were 60 inches cab to axle distance and pickups were 56 inches cab to axle. that corresponds to 155.9 to 160 wheel base difference.
